The CTR Flag

From Eric Jarvis:

Last year our family made a CTR (Choose the Right) flag for Family Home Evening. I can't remember why we did it, and I had completely forgotten about it.

Our neighbor, Avram Dunsky, has built a treehouse for his granddaughter, and our kids use it often to read and relax.

Recently, Avram told us that Thomas had affixed the CTR flag to the top of the treehouse. He thought it must be our family flag, and we asked Avram why he thought so.

He replied, "It's obvious -- CTR must stand for Catie, Thomas and Rebecca!"

So whenever you see CTR anywhere please remember that it has become our family logo.

:)

  1. Is that the actual treehouse in the picture?

I don't date put a treehouse in any of our trees (they're all less than 15 years old)

  2. We tried to make many tree houses out at the lake. As small groups we would walk through the woods identifying appropriate trees, close enough together to build a platform, then a ladder of pieces of wood nailed up one of the tree trunks so we could reach the top. Sadly, only a few bases were made and I have no memories of climbing up to sit on one. Thank you for living all the Pilling cousins dreams in Montreal!
