A Child's Garden of Crafts

 ... a child's delight ... a rheim of Easter coloured paper...
... and felts to go with them
...

This is the house of games and crafts. One box of games is called is Making Paper Boats. How cool is that! There is a clear basket of origami paper, another for glue and scissors, and then coloured paper, paper pads, ribbon, a child’s garden of crafts to be one.

As well there is a bag of balloons and a bump to blow them up so that the thin long coloured tubes can be shaped into animals and then decorated with felt pens. Naomi is adept at this task and can twist off the ends of the balloons so that the air doesn’t escape.
 ... gathering together today's balloon projects ...

I never really thought about what happens when there are lots of tools for crafts and lots of kids around who like to do them.

I didn’t know that too many crafts can bring out the evil in a mother.

For example, I saw Mary gathering up balloon animals late at night.

“Don’t worry, I am not going to take your picture. I just want to show your sisters how loaded your arms are from today’s ballooning. Where are you going to store them?”

She paused long enough for me to get a shot.

... there is an evil pin lurking between Mary's thumb and forefinger ...
Then I found her in the kitchen with a pin, breaking the balloons, hiding the remnants of them deep in the garbage so that no one would know that by night she disposes of what the kids make in the day time.

No room in the inn to store each day's collection of craft work.

Now, why didn’t I think of that!
