Second Troop Camps

...will the boy scouts spot the other creatures spending the night with them ...
This weekend the Salmon Arm Second Boy Scout Troop is having their overnight camp.

I have been watching the change in the weather.

Glen told me to keep an eye on Bastion Mountain where I will be able to see by the frost line on the trees, just where the line is that water is turned into ice.

... CPR machinery on the tracks ...
Sometimes I look toward Sicamous and can hardly see the end of the Monashee Range because the fog is so low
.
I have not lost interest yet in watching all day to see the change in the weather.

There is lots of CPR equipment on the tracks now – yellow by day and lit up by night.

... night begins to fall ...
The sound of the motors and the warning sound that they are backing up never goes away.

Moiya was worrying about the boys – will they get any sleep with the work crews going all night, as they do.

For the 12 year olds, Friday night may be a night of lost sleep.
... fog obliterates Old Tree Farm ...

Still when I look out, ... what a lovely place for a winter camp with Scouter Wood.
