To Do Lists

From Bonnie:

... get dressed, brush teeh, dental floss, comb hair ...
On the right you will see David's "To Do List"

- Get Dressed

- Brush Teeth

- Floss

- Comb Hair

Our days are long.

We each have to make a to-do list. We don’t have to spell correctly. It is just for us to remember what to do.

Our day was so long.

All David could do when he got in the door was curl up on the bench and go to sleep.

...collapsing on the bench at the front door ...
The best thing about the day was that he and his 3 super-wolves (friends) did the best job on "listening-8" so they got to pick a special prize.

They selected free time and they can bring any toy they want from home.

The teacher said they are limited to 2 stuffies each. David plans to bring his tiger pillow that Miranda and Richard gave him when he was 3.

It is so big he can still hide under it.  And he will bring his beloved meow-meow (cat-stuffie, in case the word meow-meow does not give it away).

Shut  your eyes.
See if you can name the
8 parts of whole body listening.
You need to listen with your ears, eyes, mouth, brain, feet, heart, hands – 8 body parts though I can only list 7 here.

That is what "listening-8" means. If you want to learn more, purchase the book Whole Body Listening Larry. It makes more sense to tell kids to listen with their eyes than to say “Look at me.”
